It allows for the rapid <strong>detection<\/strong> of health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol and enables effective treatment. Keep in mind that these conditions are often asymptomatic and can be very harmful!<\/p>\n<p><strong>You may also need a medical examination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>if you are ill<\/li>\n<li>to manage chronic or persistent diseases<\/li>\n<li>if you have a symptom that could be a sign of illness<\/li>\n<li>to help manage certain risk factors, such as smoking or obesity<\/li>\n<li>to check for side effects of a new medication<\/li>\n<li>for other reasons, based on your personal needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Annual health assessment \u2013 better safe than sorry!<\/h2>\n<p>The health assessment is based on your personal physical condition. Using a comprehensive and personalized questionnaire, the <strong>doctor<\/strong> takes the time needed to conduct a thorough <strong>examination<\/strong> and address your concerns. Based on their recommendations, a blood test may be performed on-site after the medical exam if you are fasting.<\/p>\n<h3>Our package includes:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Medical evaluation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluation of lifestyle habits: smoking, physical activity, alcohol, drug, and coffee consumption<\/li>\n<li>Allergies, medication use, medical and family history<\/li>\n<li>Complete physical examination including a gynecological exam for women and a prostate exam for men<\/li>\n<li>Screening for certain cancers based on your age and history<\/li>\n<li>Osteoporosis screening according to risk factors<\/li>\n<li>Screening for STBBIs (sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections)<\/li>\n<li>Verification of your vaccination status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Screening or diagnosis of various heart diseases<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cliniquepraxis.ca\/en\/diagnostic-examination\/#repos\">Resting Electrocardiogram (ECG)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional tests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Depending on your age, health, and family history, different tests may be recommended.
