Psychologist
Description

Currently experiencing strong growth, PRAXIS Clinics are looking for PSYCHOLOGISTS for an ADULT AND/OR CHILD/ADOLESCENT clientele to join our team!

About Praxis

PRAXIS Family Health Clinic was founded with the goal of providing quick access to appointments and a full range of quality multidisciplinary healthcare services. Our team is made up of specialized nurse practitioners in primary care or mental health, clinical nurses and licensed practical nurses, physicians, and other professionals in physical and mental health who are attentive to the specific needs of each client/patient.

Psychologists have the option to join the clinic as employees or to maintain their autonomous status (office rental) while enjoying the same benefits offered by a well-structured, multidisciplinary clinic. The clinic offers psychologists the best of both worlds — between institutional and private practice — by fostering teamwork and collaboration while respecting the uniqueness of their discipline. The clinic also provides a steady flow of referrals, opportunities for collaboration with other qualified professionals, and secretarial services. It is currently expanding its specialized mental health team, which includes a clinical nurse dedicated to patient prioritization and pre-assessments, with the possibility of multidisciplinary meetings, all while preserving professional autonomy.

Position summary

In collaboration with other professionals at the clinic, the psychologist provides assessment and intervention services to adults, couples, children, or adolescents facing a variety of issues similar to those typically seen in private practice. The psychologist works independently but is supported by a multidisciplinary team to whom they can refer patients or consult as needed.
