Online medical consultation is a quick way to obtain the expertise of a healthcare professional in cases of minor emergencies or for the evaluation of certain conditions. Through a secure consultation platform, the patient can receive medical advice, recommendations, and even a prescription without needing to travel. If necessary, we coordinate with the pharmacy or any other healthcare professional. Our remote medical consultation service is offered either by telephone teleconsultation or telemedicine with videoconference, using your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
IN-PERSON MEDICAL VISIT
PRAXIS complements its telemedicine service by offering in-person consultations at one of our official or partner clinics available throughout Quebec. Telemedicine has limitations and sometimes requires additional evaluation through a physical examination in person. Patients followed by telemedicine whose condition requires it will thus avoid having to consult again for the same issue and will be seen quickly to complete the evaluation.
